Welcome to the gospel biographies blogsite. I plan to regularly post on various aspects of Christianity. As a Christian, I’m interested in the ways authentic Christianity has been lived in various times and cultures. The posts will often be reviews of biographies of Christians who had particularly effective and instructive lives of faith. I believe that lived Christianity has received too little attention from many Christians. At least I know that I can benefit by exploring great, distinctive Christian lives.
But the blog will not be exclusively about biographies. I will also post reviews of other types of books and essays relating to Christianity, especially those that address effective Christian practices and teaching from times and places besides 21st-century America.
